RE: A NEW CHAPTER in my life
I was just diagnosed too-just got the call from the doctor the other night. I'm scared of the diagnosis. I know that with diet, exercise & meds will likely be ok for at least a few years, but am really depressed by the diagnosis of diabetes. The doctor said to take the metformin for 3 months then will retest the blood sugar levels. I hoping that I can make the changes to get my blood sugar down so that I can maybe live a longer & productively.

Sounds like we need to set up a rally @ the Audubon NJ Wal-Mart for this weekend! Seriously though, if I has a trailer more substantial than a p/u, I would overnight @ Wal-Mart if allowed, or any other retailer that wanted my business enough to allow me to stay a few hours/overnight. However, as a guest of any such establishment, dumping tanks would not be appreciated. Imagine if you had stopped @ Grandma's place overnight & she allowed you to use her driveway overnight. Would you dump your tanks in her driveway? Ok, mayne at the mother-in-laws, but that's another story...

Speaking of nose pickers, I'm one of them & shop @ Wal Mart-just make sure I handle all of the mechandise I can...if I can plug in over near the flowers/plants, then I guess I could use the pop up there after all....

Bent Door on Colman Shenandoah
Went camping 2 weeks ago-apparently on the trip lost one of the bolts that hold the swing down door brackets, didn't notice when i swung down the door, and bent the step/door out of shape, and now it won't latch securely for travel. Any ideas on how to either straighten the door to get it to latch properly, or where to get a replacement door? Had to bungee the door closed for the trip home.

The closest CG to phila is Timberlane-if you have a toad & not traveling @ rush hour you can be in downtown Phila in 20 min. Great folks @ Timberlane & bathrooms clean. I use it when in the doghouse & need to get away for 1-2 nights(not too often, fortunately)

Well said Mousefart-I beleve the same -that global warming is real, but that it is likely a cyclical issue, and not necessarily due to "greenhouse gasses". The main point of the post, would Wal-Mart ban generators from overnighting RVr's, I don't think is in their best interests. However, what I feel Wal-Mart should do is set up electrical hookups on the edge of their lots so that we could tap into this "green" energy, and allow us to pay , say $ 10/night to hook up while we're there. I know I'm gonna get flamed for wanting to turn Wal-Marts into campgroungs. I don't but obviously people are using their lots for at least overnighting, so why not really go green & allow the public to tap into the non/less polluting energy sources?
